Geological Formation:
The Borra Caves are natural limestone caves that have formed over millions of years due to the flow of water through the limestone rock. The continuous dripping of mineral-rich water over time has led to the creation of remarkable stalactite and stalagmite formations.

The entrance to the caves is marked by a large entrance chamber that is often beautifully illuminated. As you venture deeper into the caves, you’ll be able to observe various types of formations, including natural pillars, speleothems, and intricate mineral deposits that have formed unique shapes and patterns.

The interior of the Borra Caves is characterized by a network of chambers and passageways. The natural formations are often illuminated with artificial lighting, enhancing the visual appeal of the cave and allowing visitors to appreciate the details of the formations.

Reservation canceling is free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival. In the event of cancellation at short notice, one night is charged if we are unable to fill the room with another booking. Applicable in the event of early departure. At Christmas / New Year the cancellation period is 14 days before arrival.
